With the festive yuletide season drawing near, the Barbados Fire Service is impressing on the need for residents to be fire smart.
Divisional Officer with the Service, Marlon Small, wants people to be vigilant throughout the season.
He has encouraged people to consult certified electricians to look at the added load on their electrical system as they seek to enhance their home and surroundings.
