Barbadians should be preparing to fight another wave of COVID-19 cases.
Director of Medical Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Dr. Clyde Cave says this reality is of grave concern to him when he contemplates what it could mean for Barbados’ health care system.
During the latest episode of the People’s Business on TV8, he said they learned lessons from the spike at the beginning of this year and Barbados is extremely fortunate its health care system did not fail during that time.
Dr. Cave says knowing how close we came to the brink, we cannot afford to be complacent.
