Barbados is making a major step to boost intraregional travel.
The Lower House of Parliament met to rubber stamp the reduction to the Air Travel and Tourism Development Fee, also referred to as the Airport Service Charge.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley had announced the reduction of the fee for CARICOM travel during her budget presentation.
Minister of Tourism and International Transport Ian Gooding-Edghill led off Debate on the Resolution to amend the Airport Service Charge.
