Barbados Postal Service to release new Commemorative Issue of stamps

The Barbados Postal Service (BPS) will release a new Commemorative Issue of four stamps featuring the Synagogue Block Restoration from Monday, August 23rd.

The denominations for the four stamps are Emancipation Monument, 10 cents; Artisan’s Workshop, 65 cents; Nidhe Israel Synagogue Exterior, $1.80; and the Mikvah, $2.20. The set of four may be purchased for $4.75, while First Day Covers may be purchased at $5.50.

Official First Day Covers and Souvenir Sheets may be bought or ordered from the Philatelic Bureau of the General Post Office, Bridgetown, Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
