Barbados is continuing to strengthen trade links with Dubai and in areas outside of traditional goods and services.
One of the platforms the island is using to achieve its targets is Expo Dubai 2020.
The world expo is currently hosted in the United Arab Emirates from October 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022. Originally scheduled for October 20th, 2020 to April 10th, 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Executive Officer of Invest Barbados Kaye Brathwaite spoke about Barbados’ campaign on the Morning Report.
Ms. Brathwaite says Barbados will be promoting road tennis in a major way, adding that they have already sent off a team to Dubai.
