Barbados is among three Caribbean countries selected to test the pilot project of a virtual learning platform, which stakeholders hope will help to build stronger justice systems.
Just Connect is an innovative approach to judicial education through an online sharing platform for Caribbean judges.
Barbados’ Chief Justice Sir Patterson Cheltenham, who was present for the launch in Trinidad, says Just Connect represents an invaluable addition to the legal armoury of the judiciary.
The project will also be tested by Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.
Chief Justice of Trinidad and Tobago Ivor Archie in welcoming the platform, says he looks forward to working with Barbados and Guyana.
