Barbadians between the ages of 40 and 69 now have a new opportunity to register for health insurance without pre-checks.
It comes as the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) in conjunction with Lynch Insurance Brokers, relaunched the health plan for members.
BARP President Marilyn Rice-Bowen spoke about the importance of the product, designed to cover major medical expenses, at a media briefing.
At its first launch, the plan attracted over 8000 but that’s now down to around 6000 subscribers.
Group Chief Executive Officer with Lynch Insurance Brokers, Gregory Rose says they remain committed to educating people on how to use the plan.
