A total of 907 degrees, diplomas, and certificates across a range of disciplines, are expected to be conferred on the Class of 2023 of the Barbados Community College as it holds its 50th graduation ceremony on Saturday.
The figure represents an increase over the approximately 800 academic qualifications conferred on students during last year’s ceremony.
The graduation will be held under the theme “Framing the Future”.
Of the total number of students who will graduate, 228 will receive Bachelor Degrees, 176 the Associate Degree in Applied Science and 133 the Associate Degree in Applied Arts. Additionally, 141 students will graduate with the Associate Degree in Arts, 63 with the Associate Degree in Science and 35 with the Associate Degree in Arts and Science.
116 students will receive BCC Certificates, while six others will be given Postgraduate Diplomas.
