The accomplishments of nursing students at the BCC’s Division of Health Sciences were celebrated during a prize-giving and pinning ceremony honouring the graduating class of 2023.
Principal Aannette Alleyne welcomed their efforts especially those who stepped up to the plate and volunteered during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She says this is an amazing feature that represents who they are as healthcare professionals.
While delivering the valedictory address, Registered Nurse Sherani Haynes expressed gratitude to all who aided her and the class in successfully completing their studies.
Ms. Haynes says her experiences have taught her to cherish humanity and she encouraged the class to do the same.
