BDF members conduct clean up at Geriatric Hospital

The Barbados Defence Force is engaging in several community outreach programmes as part of its 45th anniversary celebrations.

At the break of dawn, more than 50 members of the BDF began debushing the premises of the Geriatric Hospital and removing old furniture and other contents from an abandoned unit attached to the healthcare facility.

Lieutenant (Coast Guard) Karen Carvalho – Officer Commanding Force Headquarters Company, says the clean up project is a continuation of the Force’s outreach work at the Beckles Road, St. Michael hospital.
