The Barbados Defence Force is working to bring its hyperbaric chamber back into operation.
BDF Chief of Staff, Commodore Errington Shurland, made the revelation as he provided an update on the chamber, one of only a few in the region.
Speaking on the Public Affairs Department programme ‘One On One’, he noted the chamber can be used to treat several conditions, including carbon monoxide poisoning and decompression sickness.
