Bicyclist injured in collision with bus

26 year old Jabari Holder is nursing injuries to his chest sustained in an early morning collision with a Transport Board bus on Halton Road, St. Philip.

Holder, of Orange Grove, St. Joseph, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

He was the rider of a bicycle while the Transport Board bus was driven by 54 year old Adrian Clarke of Melvin’s Hill, St. Joseph.

Both vehicles were travelling in an easterly direction when the accident happened.

A police report gave 7:30 a.m. as the time of the accident, which caused traffic to be diverted at Featherbed Lane Junction.
