While noting much of the discussions on the changes to the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) have been negative, Deputy President of the Senate, Her Honour Elizabeth Thompson, sought to highlight some of the benefits.
She said these include plans to introduce a cost of living allowance.
Senator Thompson also highlighted the advantages of paternity benefits.
