Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs Ryan Straughn says if the COVID-19 pandemic did not happen, debt would be down 100%.
He made the charge during his contribution to the Budgetary Proposals and Financial Statement, 2024.
Mr. Straughn says Government had no choice but to borrow money as the circumstances dictated that it was necessary.
