Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Works Dr. Romel Springer, is in full support of the proposed 5 personal days for public servants.
Dr. Springer was making his contribution this morning during the Appropriation Bill 2024.
He said workers no longer had to feel guilty about taking much needed days to go to the doctor, or take care of ailing family members.
However, Dr. Springer said he hoped workers did not abuse the allowance.
The measures are set to take effect on June 1, 2024.
