The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. is looking for creative ways to increase airlift to Barbados and ultimately boost arrival numbers.
The disclosure from Chair of the BTMI Shelly Williams.
She’s responding to Central Bank Governor Dr. Kevin Greenidge’s call for more airlift to boost tourism, especially out of the US market.
Ms. Williams told CBC News job number one is to ramp up airlift.
She says it’s important to maintain dialogue with the airlines.
