The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises that it will be conducting electrical maintenance and upgrades at a number of its facilities across the island commencing today.
No disruption of water supply is anticipated. However, BWA tanker crews will be on standby to assist customers in the event of any water outage.
Work will be conducted in various districts, as follows:
- Bushy Park in St. Philip on Thursday, October 13
- Golden Ridge in St. George on Friday, October 14
- Vineyard in St. Philip on Monday, October 17
- Lamberts in St. Lucy on Tuesday, October 18
- Mount Pleasant in St. Philip on Wednesday, October 19
Work at the respective stations is scheduled to start around 8:30 a.m., and should last for approximately two to eight hours.
