BWA: Some February water bills late

Some Barbadians are being warned they may receive their February water bills late.

In a release, the Barbados Water Authority says customers in some parts of St. Michael and St. George may get the bills after the respective payment due dates.

While not providing a reason for the possible delay in the bills, the BWA reminded customers querying bill balances that they can call 434-4292 for account balances via the automated system.

Customers may also email customercare@bwa.gov.bb for assistance.

For those following payment plans, the BWA has reminded them to continue paying the agreed sum in addition to current water charges.

Those wishing to make an agreement and payment can visit the BWA, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.

The BWA has thanked affected customers for their patience and understanding.
