There’s reaction tonight from the Barbados Workers Union to Government’s launch of a major maintenance plan for ‘sick buildings’.
Deputy General Secretary and Director of Industrial Relations at the Barbados Workers’ Union Dwaine Paul is commending the initiative as a positive step forward.
Mr. Paul emphasises the necessity of a comprehensive strategy that extends beyond government buildings and incorporates the insights and expertise of the BWU.
He is advocating for a collaborative approach to develop a national policy for buildings that ensures the well-being of all workers and the general public.
