The Caribbean Against Apartheid group marched today to support the people of Palestine.
The march began outside the British High Commission and ended in Independence Square.
Political analyst Peter Wickham was among those participating. He commended Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley for her statement condemning the actions of Israel in the ongoing conflict.
He says however he doesn’t believe Barbados or other CARICOM countries should follow Belize and sever diplomatic ties with Israel.
President of the Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine group Lalu Hanuman however, has still called for CARICOM countries to cut all diplomatic relations with Israel until human rights issues have been resolved in Gaza.
