A local artist wants to see more blank walls transformed and created into art spaces on the island.
Shane Eastmond has been instrumental in painting a mural on the wall at the Collymore Rock bus stop by Purity Bakeries.
The 261 foot long mural, which was officially unveiled yesterday, was created to to build awareness of breast cancer, this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Mr. Eastmond says the wall was designed to speak to and uplift passersby, whether walking or driving.
CIBC FirstCaribbean Walk for the Cure Manager, Shakida Grant expressed gratitude to all who came on board to make the project a reality.
She says it was a true collaborative effort.
Ms. Grant says though the pandemic has affected its Walk for the Cure drive, CIBC FirstCaribbean is committed to the cause.
