Every house roof in Barbados should be fitted with a solar panel.
Businessman and Chairman of Williams Industries Ralph ‘Bizzy’ Williams made the call in his remarks at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados’ webinar and panel discussion: ‘The Road to 2023: The SDGs and Why Should It Matter to Me’.
He said the initiative should be embraced by everyone and the Barbados Light and Power Company be given the authority to install storage facilities.
The businessman said the way forward calls for a united approach between Government, stakeholders and all of Barbados.
He said it is not a fashion trend.
