CBC to partner with China Media Group to produce programmes

Television programmes produced in Barbados could very well be televised in China.

The announcement by Chief Executive Officer of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Sanka Price comes as CBC partners with the Brazil-based China Media Group for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The two sides have been collaborating on producing programmes in this regard.

Through the partnership, CBC will also be receiving English-speaking programmes covering several areas, including culture and technology.

Mr. Price, after viewing the available programmes, is upbeat.

Journalist with the China Media Group for Latin America and the Caribbean, Geng Zhiqian welcomes the interest by Barbadians in China.

This, she notes, could serve as a platform to begin the collaboration.
