Changes are on the cards for legislation governing safe zones.
Confirmation of this from Dr. Lynda Williams, the President of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners.
Speaking exclusively to the Morning Report, she confirmed BAMP has had extensive discussions with Government on the way forward over the past few days.
Dr. Williams says the new plan for safe zones needs to include other sectors of the economy to encourage more testing and vaccination.
She says it will help to improve the level of safety in environments such as restaurants and entertainment venues, once these businesses have met the safe zone requirements.
