Some businesses have announced plans to roll out a privately designed Safe Zone initiative with strict vaccination and testing requirements for customers and employees.
It will come into effect from next Monday, November 15th at Sweetfield Manor Boutique Hotel, Aqua Spa, Pavão Restaurant and later Senses Marché and Caribbean Smile Makers.
Under the initiative, participating businesses will have a specially designed logo with a QR code attached to their properties.
Both patrons and employees will be required to wear medical grade masks.
The initiative is open for other businesses to come on board but those found breaching protocols could be pulled, while patrons who flout the measures may be banned from the establishments for a period of time.
Dr. Vidya Armogan of Caribbean Smile Makers gives a further breakdown of how it will work.
