Chief Justice Sir Patterson Cheltenham will be retiring in a matter of months.
He made the announcement yesterday, during the swearing-in of a new High Court Judge at State House.
Sir Patterson was appointed to the post on November 1 2020, becoming the fifth person to serve in that role since independence.
His final day in office will be May 15.
Speaking to members of the media, he revealed what he would consider his achievements in the last three and a half years.
Sir Patterson highlighted staffing as an area of concern, which he says is being worked on.
