Barbados’ COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 63.
This with the death of a 53 year old man, who died at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the evening of Tuesday, September 21st.
His COVID-19 test, which was taken at the A&E on Tuesday, was returned yesterday, Wednesday, September 22nd, showing a positive result.
The deceased had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant-Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
