The COVID-19 death toll in Barbados is now 160 following the deaths of four people – two men and two women.
On Monday, November 1st, a 70 year old woman of Haitian nationality passed away at Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and a 92 year old Barbadian man also succumbed to the virus while at the Queen’s College Isolation Centre. They were both unvaccinated.
Additionally, two more Barbadians, an 88 year old woman and a 94 year old man, died today, Tuesday, November 2nd, at the Harrison’s Point and Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facilities, respectively. She was vaccinated, while he was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
