Discount on BWA arrears ends soon

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is reminding Barbadians the 25% discount on money owed to the Barbados Water Authority ends next month.

The measure was one of several announced by the Prime Minister during the March Budget, to give Barbadians an ease.

However, speaking in the House of Assembly yesterday, Ms. Mottley issued a caution to those BWA customers who do not attempt to clear their arrears.

She has also warned debtors to continue to pay once they enter into a payment arrangement.
