Early closure notice

Several courts across the island will be closed from noon on February 8, due to the funeral service of the late Justice of Appeal, the Honourable Jefferson Cumberbatch.

In a statement released by the Supreme Court’s Judicial Communications Office, the early closure is to facilitate the attendance of the judiciary, magistracy, and registration department staff.

The following courts will be closed, the Court of Appeal and the High Court of the Supreme Court located on Whitepark Road, the Henry Forde and David Simmons Legal and Judicial Complex, Coleridge Street, St. Michael, and all Magistrates Courts.

However, offices of the registration department and magistrates courts will remain open.

The registration department would to apologise for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
