The Barbados Water Authority is advising residents and businesses in St. Lucy that its ongoing swabbing exercise to address discoloured water issues in the parish will continue on Monday, June 27th.
On that day, crews will swab the main that runs between Content and Connell Town, St. Lucy starting around 10:00 a.m. and ending around 6:00 p.m.
As a result of the exercise, residents and businesses in the following areas and surrounding districts may be affected by low pressure or a water outage:
· Content
· Crab Hill
· Archers Road
· Archers Bay
· Grape Hall
· Greenidges
· Cluffs
· Roaches
· Harrison’s Plantation Road
The BWA has asked customers in the mentioned areas to store an adequate supply of water to assist during the stated period. Water tankers will also be dispatched to service the affected areas.
The Barbados Water Authority has apologised for any inconvenience this work may cause.
