As the 2022 Crop Over season continues to heat up, patrons of the various events are being cautioned to ensure the tickets they seek to buy come from credible sources only.
This as reports have surfaced about fraudulent tickets being sold.
The situation has caught the attention of authorities and event planners, including the Chief Executive Officer of TicketLinkz Barbados, Ryan Brathwaite.
He spoke to CBC News about the situation, noting that police have been notified.
Mr. Brathwaite adds that Barbadians desirous of going to the various events must therefore be very wary of any non-associated ticket sources they may be tempted to use.
