This year’s Pic-O-De-Crop list features two former Junior Monarchs who are thrilled to be able to transition to the big stage in this way.
Both graduates of that competition have made it through at their first attempt.
CBC caught up with Dequon Alleyne and Raanan Hackett and spoke to them about their selection for the July 29th competition.
Alleyne has praised songwriters Waterstreet Boyz for “Animal Kingdom” and thanked his support network.
He said big things can be expected.
Raanan Hackett, whose “If I Was To Win” composition was penned by Gabby and his mother Annette Slocombe, is thrilled to be with the veterans.
