The Estimates Debate resumed today, continuing with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment.
It was revealed that the Barbados Youth Advance Corps (BYAC) is expected to have a new facility to call home in two years during today’s Parliamentary session.
The Corps’ Director Hally Haynes says that upon completion, the plant will house 300 individuals per intake. He adds that it will significantly bolster the organisation’s efforts to respond to the developmental needs of young people. Mr Haynes was at the time responding to a question regarding the 11 million dollars allocated to the BYAC for the next fiscal year.
