After a five week, $200,000 renovation, the lone operating drive-in theatre in Barbados and the Caribbean, the Globe Drive-In, has reopened.
Specially invited guests gathered at the Adams Castle, Christ Church venue to celebrate the occasion.
Managing Director Scheval Ali says several areas across the compound were upgraded.
In saluting the management for maintaining the facility, Government’s Special Advisor on Culture and Heritage, Senator John King, challenged those in charge to allow the venue to be a space for local creatives.
