A 40, 000 dollar donation has been made to help provide care packs for women in the gynaecological ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital thanks to two charities.
The Katrina Endometriosis and Women Health Association in conjunction with the Massy Foundation made the donation of fifty care packs in the first instance but the funds will provide monthly donations.
Senior Nursing Officer for the Women and Children Directorate, Andrea Scott, expressed thanks to both charities and outlined how the care packs would be used for the patients.
This was the first donation for the Katrina Endometriosis and Women Health Association for the year.
President and Executive Director Katrina Alleyne says the Endodrive helps many.
