Higher prices for events

Expect to pay more to attend upcoming entertainment events given the green light to be held during the holiday season and into 2022.

That’s because organisers are now spending at least 20% more than their usual budget to host these events.

Chief Executive Officer of TicketPal Caribbean, Orlando Newton explains this is just the beginning of an era of uncertainty for the entertainment sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He spoke to the Morning Report today, as his team prepares to host ‘NYE’, a New Year’s Eve event at the soon to be launched Halo Ultra Lounge in St. Lawrence Gap.

Meanwhile for patrons it could be a longer wait just to get into some of these events.

Also, if you fail to cover your bases as far as being vaccinated or having an up-to-date COVID-19 PCR or Rapid test, you could be denied entry.
