Include kidney checks in regular medical examinations

Barbadians on this World Kidney Day are being reminded of the importance of having regular check ups of this vital organ.

Kidney disease patient, Anthony Sobers says many do not include these checks as part of their regular medical examinations.

This, he says, leads to people finding out too late they have kidney disease.

World Kidney Day 2022 is being observed under the theme, “Kidney Health For All”.

Mr. Sobers says kidney disease impacts people differently.

He was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
