Increase the pace of energy transition

If Barbados and the region are serious about achieving their 2030 renewable energy targets, they need to ramp up the pace of their transition.

That analysis from President of the Caribbean Development Bank Dr. Gene Leon.

During his feature address at the ongoing Caribbean Energies and Investment Summit, he called for urgent action as he highlighted the ideal benchmarks for the region going forward.

The CDB president notes collaborations on funding, particularly with the private sector, will be crucial to making the energy transition a reality.
