Information suggests Mu COVID-19 variant in the region since June 2021

New information from the Pan American Health Organisation is suggesting that the Mu variant of COVID-19 may have been in the Caribbean region for at least three months.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the announcement yesterday during a media conference that gave updates on the COVID situation in Barbados.
