With focus expected to be placed on the victims of Nazism tomorrow for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Jehovah’s Witnesses on island will be remembering fellow followers who suffered religious persecution in Nazi Germany.
National Spokesman, Robert Hendriks says few know that many of its believers were targeted and suffered for their Christian faith.
He shed light on the period on CBC TV’8s Mornin’ Barbados, calling it an ugly time in history.
International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be observed under the theme, ‘Home and Belonging’.
Mr. Hendriks says it reflects on what it meant to persecuted during the holocaust and in its aftermath.
