During the month of April, Barbados will conduct business missions in the United States, specifically in South Carolina and Georgia.
The visiting delegation will participate in a business forum in each city. The respective business communities will gain insight into the investment climate in Barbados, including bilateral and multilateral facilities to drive investment and trade between the states and the country.
Additionally, the Barbados delegation will investigate investment opportunities in Charleston and Atlanta.
The mission set for April 24 to 26 is organised by Invest Barbados and the Consulate General of Barbados in Miami.
Among the key sectors of interest to the business communities in Charleston and Atlanta are agriculture and agro-processing, life sciences, renewable energy and tourism.
