An increasing number of victims of domestic violence have reportedly been reaching out to a local non-profit organisation, but many are still fearful of speaking out.
Founder of the Save Foundation, Liesel Daisley says the number of calls first went up during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms Daisley says the Foundation must continue to keep domestic abuse in the public domain, as the seriousness of the issue has not fully hit home yet.
