Jobs on the horizon for Barbadians

Several major construction projects are set to come on stream in the first half of next year, bringing with them jobs for Barbadians.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the announcement during her address to the nation yesterday, where she announced the January 19th election date.

The Prime Minister says over the last month, she has been meeting with representatives of firms which will be undertaking major projects in Barbados.

Prime Minister Mottley says all, for the most part, have given start-up dates between January and June 2022.
