Keep an eye on inflation rates

A university Economics Lecturer, speaking to the CBC’s Morning Report ahead of this afternoon’s Budget, says while 4% growth is predicted for the local economy, an eye must be kept on high inflation rates.

Dr. Antonio Alleyne says these rates cannot be ignored.

He says while public servants are happy with their pay increases, they need to consider the cost in terms of the increased price levels for the coming period.
