Man remanded in connection with death of Sonia Parris

Police have made a major breakthrough in their investigations into the unnatural death of Sonia Parris.

The 58-year-old Parris went missing after leaving her job at Chefette in Wildey, St. Michael.

42-year-old Andre Pedro Small of the corner of Bynoe Road, Worthing View and Rendezvous Road, Christ Church has been charged with her murder.

Small appeared before the Magistrate in the District C Court today and was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

He was remanded to Dodd’s Prison until May 23rd, when he is scheduled to appear in the District B Magistrates Court.
