Mega 6 jackpot claimed

The Mega 6 winner from May 5 this year has finally collected their jackpot winnings – but through an attorney.

Arthur Holder received the cheque today for $1,480,000 at Mumus Supermarket at Lammings, St. Joseph where the lucky ticket was purchased.

Mr. Holder described the winner as a young man with great family connections.

While Mr. Arthur admitted that the winner did take a while before he collected, he said the win did not change his character and he found his approach to him remarkable.

Representative for Mumus Supermarket Dawn McIntosh told CBC News this was the biggest winning customer they ever had and it feels great.
