Barbados has been told more resources need to be put behind drug prevention and rehabilitation as most of the funds are put behind the reduction of the supply.
The recommendation was put forward by a Substance Abuse Management lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Tessa Chadderton-Shaw.
She was a guest on CBC TV8’s Morning Report.
Ms. Chaderton-Shaw wants that in 2024, the message on medicinal cannabis to be made clearer.
