Barbados is expecting positive outcomes as it works to build business linkages with the United States in South Carolina and Georgia.
Invest Barbados and the Consulate General of Barbados in Miami will be conducting business missions in the two states, in less than two weeks.
Director of Investment and Marketing, Renatta Mohammed, says the missions are follow-up visits after a delegation from Charlestown, South Carolina came to Barbados late last year.
That team was on the island to explore trade, business and investment opportunities.
Ms Mohammed was a guest on CBC TV 8’s Morning Report.
She says efforts will be made by other partners, including the National Cultural Foundation to boost cultural ties.
