Some forty-eight new Attorneys-at-Law were recently admitted to the bar at the Supreme Court.
Cameraman Christopher Wood caught up with them and their parents on the steps as they basked in the accomplishment.
They also took time out to pose with Chief Justice Sir Patterson Cheltenham and Acting Attorney General Wilfred Abrahams.
Among them were the children of the Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. Board Shelly Williams and Doctor Jerry Emtage.
For many others, they spoke of the sacrifices to bring them to this point.
Acting Attorney General Wilfred Abrahams believes this new set of lawyers is entering the profession at a time when lots of areas are opening up.
